On Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, the remains of United States Army Sergeant Robert Dakin of Waltham were escorted from Logan Airport to his final resting place at Mt Feake Cemetery Waltham, where he was laid to rest on Dec. 12.

Sergeant Dakin’s remains were found in Korea 65 years after he was killed in action.

The City of Waltham showed its patriotism when hundreds came out to see the horse Drawn hearse led by 13 bagpipers.

Waltham Firefighters showed their respects throughout the city.
